TOPS National Curriculum Training

sstuwa-tops-leigh-2011With the National Curriculum a reality teachers will have to implement, the SSTUWA Education and Training Centre has held a number of free professional development sessions focusing on using TOPS to help plan for the new curriculum requirements.

Highly praised by users as, TOPS is an online curriculum planning tool offered to members of the SSTUWA and accessible from within the member area of this website. All members need to do is log in and they have instant access to TOPS.

To make life easier for WA teachers, everything is linked to all planning assessment and resource documents. The Australian Curriculum linked to the WA Curriculum making it easier to adapt previous programs.

The free (members only) TOPS Training sessions give members the skills to control this user friendly and informative resource. TOPS training sessions highlight the simple step by step process and how to access the links, downloading documents and storage of documents and plans.

No WorkChoices WA

Troy Buswell and the State Government have appointed a former Howard Government industrial relations advocate to review Western Australian workplace laws and will soon announce changes that could affect up to 300,000 Western Australian workers' jobs and livelihoods.

For Our Future

Public schools are a foundation stone of our society. They are places of learning, of inspiration and opportunity where every Australian child can get the education they deserve.  It's the key to a strong economy, a skilled workforce and a socially cohesive society.

Save Our Schools

Public education should be free and open to all to ensure non-selective and non-discriminatory access to a high quality education. Every child has a right to be educated; to develop as a human being. This basic capability should not be denied to anyone, either by design, apathy or neglect.
