EMPLOYERS STANDING BY TRADEOFFS 

There are 2 major issues which the employers are unwilling to take off the table.

1. Changes to your ARD conditons – Amendment 1

“Remove the distinction between PA and ARD time, creating a 'non-lecturing' category of time (16.5 hours). The use of this time would be negotiated between lecturer and manager. Time worked off campus would be by agreement between lecturer and manager”.

Please note that there are a couple of alternative permutations of the above being pushed by the employers.

2. Removal of conversion to permanency policy.

The employers will not agree to our tabled clause which would provide for permanency after 2 years.
