Breast Cancer Awareness

Australia’s Breast Cancer awareness month is a reminder to women 50 years or over to have a FREE screening mammogram at BreastScreen WA every two years.
Remember, once is not enough.

All mammograms are reviewed separately by two doctors.

  • Breast cancer cannot be prevented and is the most common life threatening cancer in Australian women.

  • Mammograms can detect breast cancers before they can be seen or felt.
