Perth Work Safe 2010 Forum - Tuesday 26 October 2010 - This year's theme is 'Working together for safety and health'.
Keynote speaker Dr Travis Kemp, Managing Director and Chief Psychologist with the Teleran Group, will talk about the importance of building a strong safety culture within the workplace. The Forum will also cover topics including managing manual tasks, guarding, heat stress, electrical safety and managing contract workers.
This year's featured afternoon speaker is Anh Do, Comedian of the Year 2008, who will deliver an inspirational talk about his life experiences.
WorkSafe Commissioner, Nina Lyhne will discuss the harmonisation of occupational safety and health legislation across all States of Australia and the implications for Western Australian workplaces.
