This half-day event will guide participants' understandings of how children experience trauma in the early years, and the longer-term implications of trauma if untreated.
The workshop will explore the impact of trauma on a child’s development as well as the complex relationship between trauma, behaviours and emotional responses.
the session will be conducted by Casey Girdletone, Profesional Learning Consultant from Child Australia . Casey has worked in the early education sector for over 12 years. Casey is trained in trauma informed practices and has a deep understanding of working with students with challenging behaviours.
At the conclusion of the course teachers will:
