Schools General Agreement 2017 endorsed by members

Schools’ members have voted to accept the offer from the Department of Education for a replacement General Agreement. Of the members voting, 87 per cent supported the proposed agreement. The SSTUWA has therefore formally accepted the Agreement-in-Principle and an application to register a replacement agreement has been lodged with the WAIRC. Once this agreement is registered, the $1000 per annum salary increase (pro rata for relief and casuals) will be paid, backdated to 6 December 2017.
