This half-day session will take you through a backward design planning model as described by Grant Wiggins and Jay McTighe (2005).
The process begins with goal setting and utilises the achievement standards from the WA Curriculum. The model also includes the embedding of explicit assessment and literacy practices throughout the unit of work so that informed decisions about progress and achievement can be made with authentic assessment data.
This workshop is for both primary and secondary teachers.
The context will focus on the learning area of English but is suitable for other subject areas.
At the end of this course teachers will have:
$ 75 : Members: Part Time/Relief/Student
$ 150 : Members: Full Time
