If your role description includes facilitating ongoing professional learning for other staff or parents in your school and you are looking to refine your approach and skills in this area, this course is for you.
Designing and facilitating adult learning can be different to working with children and very few of us have had explicit training in this area. This course will support you to become a more effective facilitator of ongoing learning. You will explore how to plan and design professional learning sessions to be delivered in the most powerful ways. You will learn how to communicate messages effectively and to manage a group of adult learners.
You will also explore strategies that increase the chance of new learning being applied in the classroom and the best ways to provide ongoing support.
