About the course

The last two years have presented educators with many challenges to navigate. 

Feeling like you are unable to influence effectively can be frustrating and a barrier to working as the professional you wish to be. 

Building your confidence to influence what happens through communicating assertively can achieve positive results. 

Using authentic scenarios, you will plan and practice an approach that feels comfortable to implement in the weeks
that follow.

Outcomes

Participants will explore and enhance their effectiveness in:

  • Applying the principles of effective assertive communication; Exploring barriers to communicating assertively; and
  • Planning for and managing challenging interactions to impact on working relationships.

Costs

$ 90 : Members: Part Time/Relief/Student
$ 180 : Members: Full Time
$ 300 : Non-Members
