(a) The Emergency Committee shall consist of the President and four Executive members.
(b) The four Executive members will be elected by Executive in January of the year in which they take office.
(c) The term of office for Emergency Committee members will expire on December 31st of the year in which they were elected to the Emergency Committee.
(d) Three members of the Committee shall constitute a forum.
(e) Meetings of the Emergency Committee:
- (i) shall be convened by the President of the Union or at the request of three members of the Committee;
- (ii) may be conducted by telephone facsimile or in person.
(f) The Emergency Committee shall make decisions on:
- (i) matters requiring immediate attention between Executive meetings;
- (ii) matters referred to it by Executive.
(g) The Emergency Committee shall not make decisions involving expenditure in excess of any amount specified by State Council from time to time.
(h) The Emergency Committee shall report on the business conducted by the Committee to the next meeting of Executive.
