Each year, the SSTUWA invites new educators to attend November State Council as a guest. We invite new educators to apply. EOIs are now open.

National New Educators Conference

Each year the AEU holds an annual New Educators Conference. This year the event will be held in Canberra, and we invite new educators in their first five years of teaching to submit an EOI to attend. EOIs are now closed.

The NEN Facebook group is for members of the State School Teachers' Union of WA who are education students or public school teachers in their first five years of teaching.

New Educators Committee 2024

The committee will meet one Tuesday each term on the following dates. Zoom facilities are available.

2024 dates:

Tuesday, April 16 (Term 2 Week 1)
Tuesday, June 18 (Term 2 Week 10)
Tuesday, August 13 (Term 3 Week 5)
Tuesday, December 3 (Term 4 Week 9)

The New Educator Network supports Western Australian public school teachers who are members of the SSTUWA in their first five years of teaching.
