This half-day course is designed for any person applying for a promotional position such as Program Co-ordinator, Head of Department, Deputy Principal or Principal. The course will cover the key aspects of preparing for and performing effectively at interviews for school promotional positions.
Participants will explore key preparatory activities such as considering the needs of the school, as well as the specific role and interests of the panel members.
The program will also cover considerations for making favourable first and final impressions and what to avoid during interviews.
Participants will also explore alternative and/or supplementary selection methods and processes used by panels at interviews, such as telephone interviews, tasks or role plays.
Please note this course is not applicable to teachers applying for Level 3 Classroom Teacher.
During this course participants will:
