NOTICE TO MEMBERS – ENFORCEABLE UNDERTAKING

The Australian Education Union (AEU) has entered into an enforceable undertaking with the Fair Work Commission. This undertaking arose from concerns about the way elections were conducted, including for the office of Federal Executive Delegate. The AEU has cooperated with the Fair Work Commission and has made improvements to its processes. The further steps that the AEU proposes to take are set out in the undertaking which can be viewed at this link.

This undertaking does not concern elections that were conducted for offices in The State School Teachers' Union of W.A. (SSTUWA).
