23 April stop work

Stop work action

Thank you to every member who marched, attended a regional event or met wherever you could to watch the livestream of Tuesday’s stop work action.

Collectively we attracted over 12,000 members across Western Australia and were joined by many community and public sector union supporters. The message to the state government that teachers are overworked, underfunded and over it could not have been louder.

You can see a collection of photos from events across the state, as well as the full livestream recording of the metro event below. You can find more on Facebook or Instagram with #FixEd.

Learn more about the reasons for calling this stop work action, the process involved in getting to this point, and more.
