The SSTUWA is pleased to offer this series of LIVE online learning opportunities for all interested members and elected delegates around the 2023 General Agreement. A new series of events have been scheduled for 2025 to allow members to unpack specific clauses that impact them the most.
All events will be 45 mins in duration and consist of live delivery of content at a specified time by SSTUWA officers via ZOOM. You will have the opportunity to interact with other participants from across the state and engage with SSTUWA presenters online. There will be time for Q&A and often a SSTUWA Senior Officer will join the session.
Changes to sick leave, carer's leave and short leave came into effect in January 2023. If you are still a little uncertain and/or confused about your Personal Leave this is the ideal opportunity to explore Clause 35 of the Agreement. Join industrial staff to unpack everything Personal Leave including teacher responsibilities, principal responsibilities, evidence and what it means to have 'planned' or 'unplanned' leave.

We wish to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work. We wish to pay respect to their Elders - past, present and future - and acknowledge the important role all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people continue to play within Australia. We stand in solidarity.
