The SSTUWA is pleased to offer this series of LIVE online learning opportunities for all interested members and elected delegates around the Schools 2023 General Agreement. A series of events have been scheduled for 2026 to allow members to unpack specific clauses that impact them the most.
All events will be 45 mins in duration and consist of live delivery of content at a specified time by SSTUWA officers online. You will have the opportunity to interact with other participants from across the state and engage with SSTUWA presenters online. There will be time for Q&A and often a SSTUWA Senior Officer will join the session.

We are in the midst of an era driven by social media where ‘fake news’ and ‘alternative facts’ allude to being true via Facebook, Instagram and Tik-tok. Now more than ever is the time for members to be hyper-vigilant and to question information sources. The SSTUWA is the gatekeeper to your rights and entitlements. We invite you to join Union officers as they unpack and explore old and new misconceptions about your work and conditions.
You will leave the session knowing who to ask, where to go and how to access facts.
