About the course

The SSTUWA, in partnership with TLN in Melbourne, are pleased to offer this online learning opportunity.

Being in a learning environment with many other children can be a difficult experience for some children. Whilst challenging behaviour can be alarming, supporting these children to engage in the program is one of the most valuable things that educators can do.

During this event the following topics will be discussed.

  • Understanding why a child may find it difficult to remain calm in a preschool environment.
  • Strategies for keeping other children safe.
  • Understanding the importance of devoting time to the children who need it.
  • Programming to support pro-social behaviour.

Delivery method: Live online event

The event will be one hour in duration and consist of live delivery of content at the specified time by a presenter and a host. You will also have an opportunity to interact with other participants and engage with the presenter online.  Completing this course will contribute to one hour of professional learning and  certificate will be provided at the end of the session.
