About the course

The SSTUWA, in partnership with TLN in Melbourne, are pleased to offer this online learning opportunity for new or aspiring leaders.

Teachers are committed to delivering an engaging and rewarding curriculum for students. They frequently disagree on how this should be done and are often confounded by directives from governments and curriculum authorities. This can lead to rewarding professional conversations where teachers debate their teaching philosophy and the link to classroom instruction and learn from each other, or it can lead to conflict and disagreement. It is a role for curriculum leaders to ensure that the conversation is professional, productive and rewarding for all involved. This session will explore strategies that will help you lead your team closer to lively, professional and productive conversations.

Delivery method: Live online event

The event will be one hour and a half in duration and consist of live delivery of content at the specified time by a presenter and a host. You will also have an opportunity to interact with other participants and engage with the presenter online. Completing this course will contribute to one hour and a half of professional learning and a certificate will be provided at the end of
the session.
