This workshop provides educators with invaluable insights in the principles of self-regulation and co-regulation. By bridging neuroscience with practical strategies, participants will gain knowledge and practical tools for fostering emotional resilience, self-regulation skill development, and cultivating a harmonious learning environment.
The workshop serves as a catalyst for empowering educators to create classrooms where calmness, connection, and academic excellence flourish under the lens of co-regulation and a deeper understanding of the brain’s stress response system. Participants will explore innovative approaches tailored to diverse learning styles, ensuring inclusivity and efficacy.
Attendees will also gain practical insights into leveraging positive teacher-student relationships to scaffold self-regulation skills and mitigate stressors that impact behaviour. Part two will involve interactive group discussions to help enrich participants' learning experience, facilitating peer-to-peer exchange and collective problem-solving.

We wish to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work. We wish to pay respect to their Elders - past, present and future - and acknowledge the important role all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people continue to play within Australia. We stand in solidarity.
