Explaining the power of innovation and creativity to your students can sometimes be a challenge – so why not show them instead?
Learn how Maker Spaces link to the Technologies curriculum and what type of activities truly engage our students in 21st century learning. You will explore the applications of the Maker Movement to STEM education, and learn tips and tricks on how to inspire a ‘Maker culture’ in your school.
Workshop participants will also get a chance to do some making of their own, from cardboard creations to electronics, and learn how to kick-start the classroom of the future.
During this course participants will:
The SSTUWA is committed to following all up-to-date safety and health regulations related to COVID 19 throughout these training events.
We also request that participants bring their own mug for use at training and that any participant not feeling well or showing fever, cough or flu-like symptoms cancel their registration and not attend.
