About the course

The SSTUWA, in partnership with TLN in Melbourne, are pleased to offer this online learning opportunity.

Supporting children with challenging behaviours can be difficult. It is important for teachers to have a range of proactive strategies.

This session will explore a range of strategies that can be implemented for specific children but also incorporated as routines for the whole group. Identifying and using a targeted approach and setting up practices to ensure the behaviours are supported, monitored and managed will create a safe learning environment.

The presenter will discuss how to work effectively with families and when to use additional resources such as psychologists or therapists

Delivery method: Live online event

The event will be one hour in duration and consist of live delivery of content at the specified time by a presenter and a host. You will also have an opportunity to interact with other participants and engage with the presenter online. Completing this course will contribute to one hour of professional learning and a certificate will be provided at the end of the session.
