Build your capacity to understand how to effectively teach students on the Autism spectrum. For a student on the autism spectrum, school itself can be seen as puzzle that everyone else seems to know how to fit together.
This workshop includes an online pre-reading component to provide relevant information about the characteristics of Autism. You will be sent this reading once the course is confirmed.
This allows for a 5-hour course which focuses on practical, age-appropriate strategies to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in the primary school environment. The workshop covers key classroom strategies and effective tools to support positive development of skills and behaviours.
You will receive an email to the address you provided, on Monday 7 January 2019. The email will confirm if the event is going ahead as scheduled.
During the course participants will:
$ 100 : Members: Part Time/Relief/Student
$ 200 : Members: Full Time
$ 320 : Non-Members
Morning tea and lunch provided.
