About the course

Join Natalie Dowd from Scitech to learn how to use a range of simple educational robots.  You will find this may include many resources that you already have in your own classroom.  You will also discover accompanying coding apps for teacher experience levels from beginner to expert.

This workshop provides multiple ready-to-go student activities, with a variety of resources and challenges.  All activities are focused on problem solving skills and computational thinking.

Outcomes

This workshop will cover the following areas:

  • Robotics and coding in the WA curriculum.
  • Lesson planning.
  • Cross-curricular coding apps.
  • Assessing digital technologies.
  • Digital and non-digital resources to use in robotics

Costs

$ 75 : Members: Part Time/Relief/Student
