Join us from 12 noon for a light lunch. Session will commence at 12.45pm
Join us for lunch and then an afternoon networking with other secondary Head of Departments (HODs), Head of Learning Areas (HoLAs) and Program Coordinators (PCs) to share ideas related to issues in secondary schools. You will hear from a range of senior staff from the SSTUWA including Natalie Blewitt, Senior Vice President and Lindsay Hale, School Leader Consultant.
Nicola Sorrell, SSTUWA Growth Team Officer and HOD will lead you through some guided conversations and opportunities to discuss how to avoid being the meat in the sandwich in your school.
Each person attending the session will receive a free copy of the Teaching Learning Network (TLN) Journal Volume 31, Issue 1, Autumn 2024 and the SSTUWA Western Teacher Article - Tips for Middle Leaders - Nicola Sorrell.

The school will not be charged for the salary of the person attending trade union training - this is covered by the DoE. However, if a relief teacher is required, this is funded through the school's one line budget.
